History of this Travel Air
It is historically significance of the Travel Air is because of its use by the government in the early days of the development of commercial navigation.
Why this Travel Air?
- It’s an excellent example and will be a stunning restoration. We have Pioneer 4 inch instruments made in 1929 in both panels, the exact colors used in its livery, a correct engine and even an original tool kit painstakingly put together by Howard.
- What I love about this airplane is not just its history but Howard and his family’s commitment to see it fly again in all its glory.
